KATHLEEN MACDONELL

Kathleen has had a life-long love affair with Greece, which started in the 70’s, on the island of Mykonos. Since then she’s visited over thirty islands and is thrilled to be living in Athens now.  She has been inspired by the many paradoxes of Greek life, impressed by the perseverance of the Greeks in the face of crisis after crisis, moved by the situation of the refugees who now share their streets and neighborhoods. She hopes this site will help others to begin to understand the beautiful complexity of this city.
